Salmon Fishing Scotland February Weather in Perthshire, Scotland 2013.

Salmon Fishing Scotland February Weather in Perthshire, Scotland 2013.

The river was up again today from snow melt but we have colder conditions with more snow falling plus it is to get more colder by the end of the week. Salmon fishing conditions are set to improve at last.

Early February is throwing all sorts of weather at us in Perthshire, Scotland. Snow, wind and rain. The river Tay has been greatly effected by these extremes with big water due to thaws and then it starts to snow again. The snow should be a benefit in the long run providing the thaw is not a rapid one.
