The summer like conditions of last week disappeared today in Tayside to be substituted with much colder weather and even the prospect of snow. The water temperature was warmer than the air which is never good but still spring salmon were caught on the river.

This was a 12 pounds spring salmon caught on the Upper Stobhall beat by ghillie Ernie Duff in the Cubbie hole. Ernie was fly fishing from the bank.
