Salmon Fishing Scotland Salmon Fishing on the Benchil, lower Tay, Perthshire, Scotland September 2011.

The fishing conditions on the Tay were extremely difficult today with a rising river and gales from the backlash of hurricane Katia.
Never the less Graham May from Plymouth hooked a good salmon that raced off down the swollen river.

After a fairly eventful tussle the salmon was safely netted by ghillie John Bennett.

A truly magnificent autumn salmon for Graham. The fish weighed 16 pounds and was safely returned to the river.
