Salmon Fishing Scotland
This is me attempting to cast on a windy day this spring on the Catholes.
What is all this weather like? None stop rain. The river was up to just above 7 1/2 feet to-day. I hope it does not wash away the work we have done at Benchil. Is this what we can expect for the summer now or will we get an Indian summer with low water in
August and September?
It is the Game Fair at Scone next weekend which can be worth a visit.
Keep watching the River Garry situation as the Tay board fronted by David Summers have really heated things up with the Hydro Electric Board. They do'nt like it upem!

Salmon Fishing Scotland Catch Report for May.
There have been 11 Sea Trout and 1 Salmon caught in May on the Stanley beats. The Sea Trout have been mainly caught at Benchil. Willie T got the only Salmon on Luncarty. The Sea Trout have been earlier this year and there seams to be quite a few about as there has been far more lost than caught. The begining of June is normally the best time.
Tight lines!
Salmon Fishing Scotland River Garry Appeal.
This is the River Garry as it is now but the Tay Board fronted by David Summers is putting pressure on the relevant parties to restore the Garry to its former health before the Hydro Board took all the water out of it. By restoring it, it could mean an extra 2000 salmon running the dam at Pitlochry! For further information on this important project click here.
