This was a first ever salmon fly fishing for Phoebe Scruton aged 12 on the Tay in Perthshire, Scotland.

Phoebe plays the salmon from the boat on the lower Murthly beat much to the excitement of beat ghillie Donald Tritton.

Phoebe successfully landed the 12 pounds salmon and is pictured with a proud father.

Pheobe releases the salmon back to the river. Well done.
