A Grilse with 2 larger brown trout all caught on Flying C's

Peter Thomas on the Stanley side of Horsey with his girlfriend and Geordie having just landed a small grilse on a flying c.

David Boothroyde with the dogs on the bank in Horsey on the Pitlochrie beat of the Tay at Stanley, Perthshire, Scotland.
Always best to remove these beastly browns.

nice to see such high quality browns from the tay. I assume they are pretty large given they are next to a salmon and as such are likely to be cannibals preying on small fish? Probably best to have them out of the river as they will eat parr etc.
ReplyDeleteI have noted the recent comments regards the "cannibals", which you have so rightly edited Bob, these monsters deserve no mercy.
