These are pictures taken at Stanley,Perthshire,Scotland to-day (26th January 2008)of a 17 foot or 5.5 metre flood above summer level.

The depth is taken from the Sepa station at Ballathie and yes it is the depth above normal summer level!

is that the highest you've seen it?
ReplyDelete1993 was the biggest flood in recent years which was about 23 feet!
